The Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception “miraculous” or Our Lady of Grace, who gave the Miraculous Medal to Sister Catherine Laboure who was a member of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, in Paris, France. In 1830 Saint Catherine Laboure saw Mary three times and was told to commission the Miraculous Medal. This image of Mary is therefore known as “Our Lady of Grace”. Plaster statue.
